Most frequent questions and answers

Answer: The application of unique knowledge and skills of the pharmacist to improve the health of the people is called Pharmacy Practice. It includes hospital, clinical, and community pharmacy.

Answer: A practicing pharmacist shares responsibilities with other healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses etc) and with patients for the outcome of therapy. The patient and the community are the primary beneficiaries of the pharmacist’s actions.

Answer: College offers D. Pharmacy is 2 years duration of course.

Answer: 60 seats are available

Answer: All Pharmacy courses are job oriented courses and also have potential for self employment.

o Indian pharmaceutical industry is one of the fastest growing segments of the Indian economy.

After D. Pharmacy

Answer: Pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Biology / Mathematics / Biotechnology, Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category in the above subjects taken together).

Answer: Minimum age should be 17 year and there is no upper age limit for taking admission in these courses.
